PHARAOH ACCOMPLISHMENTS
The PHARAOHS Motorcycle Club is a non profit organization dedicated to the sport of motorcycling and community service. As our by-laws mandate The PMC donate a minimum of 25% of all proceeds to a charitable organization in the Metro East area.
Since our inception in 2004 the PMC has donated books to the East Saint Louis Public Library, provided Thanksgiving dinner to needy families, provided Christmas dinner and toys to over 50 families, provided cash donations to the suvivors of a tragic house fire in the Cahokia area, provided care packages to military personel, provided room makeovers to living quarters at Call For Help Inc., volunteer with the Rev. Doris Davis mens shelter, Katrina Aid and other donations. Many of our charitable efforts have been documented by the St Louis Post Dispatch and local televison media.
We are chartered in the state of Illinois as a non-profit agency.
Our next endevour is to set up a scholarship fund in the name of one of our deceased members, Damien Smith (Smooth D); (The Damian Smith Memorial Scholarship Fund). Our goal is to assisst East Saint Louis area students that desire a secondary education the oppurtunity to achieve their dream of a better life.
I am currently employed as a police officer and am assigned as a School Resource Officer/DARE officer in Fairview Heights, Illinois.
Many of our members have been blessed with the oppurtunity to make a living, provide for our families and have the liesure time and financial ability to enjoy the sport of motorcycle riding. Please help us share our blessings with other members of the Metropolitian St Louis area.
