SMOOTH D, REST IN PEACE

HISTORY OF THE PHARAOHS M.C.

A chance meeting between two motorcycle riders on a sweltering day
in July of 2003 resulted in a bond which neither knew was the seed
someday resulting in the culmination of the formulation of the King of
Motorcycle riding clubs;

"THE PHARAOH'S."

Edgar Ellis without any knowledge of motorcycle etiquette was
attempting to organize an all bike poker run stopped at Hick's Inn in
Lebanon, IL., looking for directions. Another biker, Michael Penny,
happened to be at that very location. Penny not only provided
directions, but also promised support. The poker run was a minor
success. More importantly, Penny kept his word.

Another vital part of the poker run which occurred on August 17th
2003 was Joe Redmond, proprietor of the Red Bell Lounge both were
backers of the Poker run, but unknowingly provided much more that
financial support. Fred and Joe both sensing that Ellis was
disappointed in the final outcome, encouraged Ellis to, "keep your
head up and keep trying." Those words of encouragement were
exactly what were needed at that moment.

On Friday August 6th 2004 the ambitions, foresight and perseverance
of a small group of motorcycle enthusiasts called a meeting at
Doug's Lounge, formerly known as Four Corners Lounge, Located at
7510 Old Missouri Road in Centreville, Illinois formulated the
foundation of the King of Motorcycle Clubs.
